Multiple scenery Opera’S’ provides many chances to experience more stories than just one opera. The great hall steps, the north foyer window step terrace, pocket gallery stair and rooftop flytower seating all serve as a public stage to tell simultaneous stories about opera culture, the urban and natural environments. In addition, both mainstages (A & B) are provided with an operable, folding backwall partition to invite the cityscape as a cinematic character in the space of the opera. Opera house(A) opens to the city, using the night skyline as an operatic backdrop, and multipurpose theater(B) opens to the water, using the sea and horizon beyond as the backdrop as well.
